Hey fellow Halers! I hope you find time to read this.
I have been a silent member of this groups for quite some time now. I
have been a fan of Hale since they started, and I keep track of things
here all the time, specially gigs and albums. I just love their sound.
Period.
I think no one barely knows me here... I was never active, So I really
don't know why I am posting this in such a happy group.
Sorry. There is no other way but to get straight to the point.
My mother was recently diagnosed with Cancer of the pancreas. It seems
that the sickness is already spreading to the neighboring organs,
particularly the liver. We were not given anything to hold on to, no
assurance that she will live or any timeframe or anything like that. I
don't know what to do. She matters so much to me that I would like to
do anything just to have hopes of saving her.
The best thing I can think of right now is to gather as much prayers
as I can. Again, I have been watching this group, and it seems that
there are a lot of good people here. Specially the band members and
the hard-core supporters.
I am not asking for money here. I am merely asking you guys to include
her in your prayers. Sorry to be a hypocrite here, I'm not really the
pray-everyday type of person, but if the fact that a lot of people is
praying for her will make the difference, it's worth a try.
Sorry again to disrupt the happiness of this group. I just need all
the support that I can get.

I still have hope. And maybe with all your support, she will have a
lot of hope, too.
